"E90M3" (e90m3)

This is the first picture I took of it. It was a bit of an impulse buy, I was sort of actively shopping to replace my 1997 Explorer. Had paid off the M3 in August and was starting to think about replacing the Explorer when it died on me on the highway on a drive from San Antonio to Corpus. The 128i was decently priced at 16k and I wanted another car, so I bought it. Without getting into a long story, it was bought for a purpose that it never actually ended up fulfilling. I never really came to like it too much, when I was home from the field, I was in the M3. When I got laid off in April of 2016, I decided to sell it because I didn’t know how long unemployment would last and I didn’t want the expenses of two cars. Had a difficult time selling it, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a company that is now defunct.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Seeing them around makes me sort of miss it, and I would own one again, albeit, with a manual .

You had the smallest BMW available, yet you still couldn’t manage to fit it between the lines.

What’s not pictured is the actual dumpster I parked it next to.

Literally just thought of you/this car as I pulled in from lunch as a beat 128 w a camry dent was in front of me. They are such a rare bird with 3 pedals.

I don’t usually prefer red, but that looks nice in that light.

They’ve hard to find with three pedals, which is why I’ve got a 328i. There was one 128i with three pedals for sale when I was looking for my second car, and it had too many miles and was too old.

Yeah, and I bought a similarly colored red van, but the one thing I can’t stand is no color (i.e: gray), so anything else is better.

Once a BMW driver, always a BMW driver.

I had a 135i. That generation is the right size. The 128i engine is a peach.

My dad has a 135is, great little car.
When it came time for me to get a second car, I went an E92 328i because of my experience with the 128i. I would’ve gotten another 128i, but I couldn’t find one with a stick.

It’s a shame they gave up on the NA I6. I wish they would have developed a more powerful version with the aluminum block.
